Welcome! On this page you can find out more about SocialCaddy, the first CRM for friends.
In the 2010’s, as the world of Social Media continued to expand, it became increasingly difficult to keep track of all our relationships. SocialCaddy was created as a solution to this problem, making it easier for friends to stay connected and get to know each other better.
SocialCaddy, founded by Nikos Kakavoulis in 2011 in Athens and New York as a solution to this problem, made it easier for friends to stay connected and get to know each other better. It was one of the first, if not the first, CRMs (Customer Relationship Management) specifically designed for taking care of the relationships with your friends.
It allowed users to store information about their friends, such as contact details, shared experiences, interests and more. SocialCaddy was designed to provide users with a complete view of all the relationships in their life and help them manage them better. SocialCaddy was the ultimate tool for staying connected with your friends – it was like having an invisible social assistant.

Unfortunately, SocialCaddy quickly found itself a victim of its concept’s own success. Not long after its launch at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, a leading tech conference for startups, its IP was copied by competition.
SocialCaddy may have been the first one to come up with this concept, at least in the startup world, but it wasn’t able to keep hold of it for very long. The copycats were quickly acquired by the major Social Media companies.
Regardless, SocialCaddy will always remain a small milestone in Social Media history. So here’s to SocialCaddy (and our robot friends) for trying something new, defying all odds.
